Rockin'K 25th Anniversary VR - 50 mile
Since we are not planning on doing the 50 mile again here's the compromise we have come up with. Some runners really wanted to run this year and get the commemorative 25th Anniversary buckle, but were not able to attend the race this year. We have set up the Rockin'K 25th Anniversary VR - 50 mile, a virtual option for these runners, and we would like to offer a modified option to all those interested in earning the 25th Anniversary 50 mile buckle. I've participated in a few virtual races. Of course nothing beats the actual race. But they can be as authentic as you, yourself choose to make it. We will set up checkpoints on the virtual course, so you can see some of the scenery Kanopolis lake state park. The highlights, gate 6 aid station, Big Bluff Loop, beaver dam and water crossings, the 2nd loop cutoff. You will get a virtual bib number, Rockin'K T-shirt - optional, and of course the commemorative buckle. Register, run your miles. At your home route, on trails, on the road, on a treadmill, out at Kanopolis if you like! Set your own pace, report your miles and time and we will send you your swag. Maybe you'll get motivated to come out and run with us in person next time!
We will have a limited number of spots. Registration for the event will run thru December 31, 2023 or while supplies last.
Buckle and shirt will ship shortly after you report your miles.
All proceeds from this will be donated to Alzheimer's Association.
