Dryden, NY 30hrs, 100 Miler

This Event Took Place Sat. Feb 22, 2025

Aw,Schugs?

So here's the deal - winter makes it hard for events to be held. Cancelations, weather, travel, there's so much involved - so a few friends are looking for another race, some specifically looking for 100 miles. We're gonna be there from 10am Saturday - 4pm Sunday. Run 100 or run 30 hours. Same course, same stuff, some people would just rather be out there and not have a goal in mind... 30hr runners will also, NOT get a DNF.

Timeline

10am Saturday BOTH races start
4pm Sunday BOTH races end

Where?

Dryden Lake Park
W Lake Rd, Dryden, NY 13053

FAQ

This is a LOW KEY event, similar to a fat ass if you're from that era of ultrarunning.

- Why only $1.25?( the rest is Ultrasignup Fees) We're not looking to make money on this, and that's the cost of the pavilion rental divided by the amount of people.
- Parking? There's some parking.
- Why 10am? well, limited parking and limited amount of people, figured you can drive from a decent distance away and still be way early. Plus it's probably going to be cold, might as well let it warm up for the start.
- Are there awards? there will be high fives.
- Will I get a buckle? We're working on that - we realize buckles and awards mean something to people, if we do get them, they won't be a traditional buckle, they'll be something cool.
- Pacers? If you need one, bring one. Just be mindful this is for fun and supplies will be limited.

Course / Aid Stations

DESCRIPTION - You'll start at the park pavilion, head south for about 2 miles, hit the turn around cone, then head back north. If you choose to , at 4miles, you can hit the aid station on your way back, or cruise through. You'll then continue to head south for another 1.8 miles or so, hit another cone, and head back North. When you arrive back at the AID, you'll have ran ONE loop of 7.5. Yeah we know that adds up to 105. You'll have one shortened baby loop... giving you 2.5 miles
to complete your 100 if that's what you're after (7.5 * 13 ) + baby loop = 100
There will be pit toilets at the Aid.
We'll have hot soup, some food etc. If you'd like to , in the spirit of the race, bring some food for all to share.

Swag?

Pre purchase a hoodie here - we probably won't have any extras just what we order, so if ya want a one of a kind comfy soft hoodie to throw on after your run... snag one.
