Running in the Dark
So... Are you afraid of the dark? Here's your chance to get comfortable with Deer, Turkeys, Bats, Skunks, yelping Coyotes and an occasional Chupacabra. Join us for a great time at night while trail running where you may see them all! The official start time is 7:14pm, exactly one hour and one minute before sunset. So don’t forget a headlamp!
Course
This is a 5-ish mile loop course. Based on which distance you sign up for determines how many laps you will need to complete (one, two, or three). This course is a combination of grass, gravel, and dirt. 30% is single track, with the remainder being at least 15ft wide.
Aid Station
There is one aid station at the start/finish line. This aid station will have water and some assorted snacks. You are encouraged to bring anything specific you need. We will have plenty of space for drop bags and your belongings at the start/finish line. A special post-race snack will be provided.
Cost
$35 no matter how many loops you choose
$40 day of registration
$105 for relay teams
$120 day of registration for relay teams
All participants get a tee
We do allow day of adjustments for the number of loops you choose to do. This is verified at check in for timing purposes.
Awards
Top 3 male and top 3 female for all three distances.
Top 1 Relay Team overall.
Relay Team - 3 person relay teams with each person doing one lap.
Refund Policy
Refund Policy - I understand that race registration fees are not refundable under any circumstance, race registrations are not transferable to other participants, or to a future years event.
