Event Description

On August 6th, we invite everyone to join us for the Minipi Trail Fest!

We're excited to return to Birch Brook Nordic Ski Club for another fun lap event! Birch Book offers a variety of single track trails, many heading up stellar hills to beautiful views. In short, the route won't be easy but we hope you're up for the challenge. It will be an afternoon of fun running and/or hiking, here's the plan:
- There will be a well marked lap of a distance of approximately 3km.
- The lap direction will alternate as you complete laps. Lots of high fives and hellos!
- The timer will be running for 2 hours.
- You can take breaks or stop before the timer runs out.
- You do as many laps as you can, or as you want, in that time.
- You can do this challenge on your own or with a team of 2.
- You can run, you can hike, you can run and hike. You can roll down hill.
- Winners, the male and female that complete the most laps in the 2 hours, get bragging rights.

The main event will be followed by a kids race and a BBQ at their beautiful chalet (with the bar open)!

Rules and Regulations

• If, for whatever reason, participants decide to stop racing, they must notify the volunteer at the provided number or check-in location.
• Arguing with the Race Director OR a volunteer is not tolerated at all.
• Participant bib numbers: please wear the number on your front.
• No wheeled or mechanized support or pacing.
• Participants must stay on marked course and know the route
• Absolutely no littering
• Participants must conduct themselves in a civil and sportsperson-like manner
•No dogs
•No earbuds

Additional rules and regulations may be added prior to the event start.

Date and location of the event:

The race will start on Saturday, August 6th at 2PM from Birch Brook Nordic Ski Club chalet.

All times are LOCAL TIMES!

We are not responsible for any transportation to/from the start.

In the case of the two person teams, it is the responsibility of the team members to be on site at an appropriate time to meet their teammates.

Leave No Trace

Littering will not be tolerated along the Trail or at the Transition/Aid Station & Start/Finish area. This will result in immediate disqualification. Sufficient waste bins will be provided at aid stations.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds (minus processing fees) will be issued if racer withdraws prior to 10 days of the event.

If for any reason the event has to be shut down due to extreme weather and or disaster, you will be pulled from the course or held at an aid station until you can be removed from the course.
