We are excited to add Babler Bongo 15K RUCK!
Ruckers will need to carry a backpack/rucksack/weighted vest that weighs at minimum 20 lbs (not counting water or food used in race). All ruck division finishers will receive a custom Babler Bongo 15K Rucking patch!
*$5/race registration for the Ruck Division will be donated to DOGS for our BRAVE

INTRO
The 2nd Annual Babler Bongo 15K Trail Race/15K RUCK is the first foot race to be hosted at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial Park, Wildwood, MO on October 25, 2025, to kick off fall racing season!

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Babler Bongo 15K Trail Race/15K RUCK will start/finish a little way past the Guy Park trailhead by the swimming pool/restrooms in Babler State Park.
The Babler Bongo 15K Trail Race/15K RUCK is a loop course connecting Dogwood, Woodbine, Hawthorn and Equestrian trails at Babler State Park.
Babler Bongo 15K Trail Race/15K RUCK is a great introduction to trail racing for beginners as well as a challenge for the more experienced trail runners!
Course Distance - 15K with approximately 1,350 feet of elevation gain.
START TIME & TIME LIMIT
The race will start at 7:30 AM. The cutoff for the race is 3.30 hours, other cut-off times to note that will be strictly enforced are as follows:
All runners must be checked OUT of the out/back loop at 7-ish Miles prior to 9:00 AM on their way back to the start/finish.
*Out/Back Loop Cut-Off - 2.5 Hours

AID STATIONS:
There will be ONE aid station/water drop on course at approx. 4.5 Miles on the loop. The aid station/water drop will be unmanned and ONLY have water.
This is a CUP FREE event so be sure to run with a handheld or hydration vest and carry a collapsible cup with you for water.

PLEASE NOTE: Babler Bongo 15K Trail Race/15K RUCK is a CUP-FREE event. Which means there won't be any paper and/or plastic cups at the race. We won't be making any exceptions to this rule!
BRING YOUR OWN MUG AND CARRY A HANDLED DURING THE RACE IF YOU NEED WATER!
