Description:
Join us for the Agapé 100k + 50k at Camp Agapé in Fuquay-Varina, NC, for an unforgettable weekend of camping and trail running on May 15-17, 2026!
The race begins at 8 am on May 16 with a beautiful but rugged course, consisting of 6-ish mile loops on a mix of singletrack and gravel trails, with a few hills to challenge your legs, and 2 separate aid stations to keep you fueled and hydrated. The trails are technical and the hills are stout, so we’re providing a generous cut-off time of 24 hours for both the 100k and the 50k. Come experience a mountain-like trail ultra, right here in Fuquay-Varina!
50k runners will complete 5 loops with 6,000 ft of elevation gain.
100k runners will complete 10 loops with 12,000 ft of elevation gain.
Please Note: The Agapé race course is not open to the public. It’s a private facility used for events, environmental classes, and camps. We’re grateful to be renting the space for race weekend, and encourage you to please refrain from contacting Camp Agapé asking to visit the course.
Cut-off Times:
24 hours (starting at 8:00 am on 5/16 and ending by 8:00 am on 5/17)
Note: All runners must be on their final lap by 6:00 am on 5/17.
Registration:
Registration opens on 6/15/25 and closes on 5/9/26. There are limited spots available for each distance.
Note: There will be no full refunds for any registered entrant who requests to withdraw before or on the date of the Event. No bib transfers or deferments will be offered or considered. There are significant upfront costs to putting on a race of this size, and many of those expenses occur months in advance of race day. Thank you for understanding.
Pacers:
Only 100k runners will be allowed to use a pacer on the final 50k of their race. All pacers must register and complete a waiver on UltraSignUp before registration closes on 5/9/26. All pacers must check in at the Start/Finish area to pick up their bib before they start their pacing duties. Pacers are expected to adhere to all the rules of the race and are welcome and encouraged to utilize the aid stations while they are active on the course.
Camping:
Car/tent camping is available from Friday night (after packet pickup) through Sunday morning (must be off-site by 10:00 AM) and is included with every runner’s registration.
If you plan on bringing crew/pacers, we ask that you please carpool in one vehicle and camp together if possible, as we are limited on parking and camping space.
Note: Fires, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm and before 7 am. Please clean up after yourself and stay mindful of the wildlife.
Aid Stations:
There will be two aid stations available at all times, one at the Start/Finish and another at Ironwood Summit @ 3 miles. Both aid stations will be well-stocked with water, electrolytes, food and snacks. See runners handbook for additional details.
*We try to make our events as cupless as possible, so please plan accordingly with your own handheld or hydration vest/belt.
