The Course

Race will start just south of where the South Bay Trail crosses Wharf Street. The race will finish just before the pedestrian crossing before the railroad tracks near the North entrance of Boulevard Park. A gear drop will be provided at the starting line and delivered to the finish line after each wave.

The Start

The Boundary Bay Mile will start at 9:00 am with a waves divided up by age group. The winner of each wave(male/female) will receive an award at the post race celebration. All finishers will receive a ribbon at the finish line. Runners/Walkers can participate in any wave they want to; however, they will only be eligible for an award in their age appropriate wave. Participants with strollers should start at the back of each wave. The Boundary Bay Mile will be limited to 300 participants this year..

9:00 Masters Men/Women(40 and over)

9:25 Youth Boys/Girls(13 and under)

9:45 Young Men/Women(14-18)

10:00 Open Men/Women(19-39)

10:00-11:00 Post Race Celebration/Awards at Boulevard Park

The Details

Parking: Public parking is available along lower Cornwall Avenue, Railroad Ave and E. Laurel Street. Additional parking can be utilized along South State Street near the Gazebo that overlooks Boulevard Park. We encourage participants to ride-share and avoid parking at Boulevard Park as spots are limited on weekends. Due to the point-to-point nature of the course participants who are concerned with walking back to their car after the race should park closer to the finish area.

Post Race: Refreshments(cookies, bagels, fruit, cookies, water and sports drinks) will be made available to all starting at 9:30 in the Finisher’s Area in Boulevard Park. All participants can pick up there finishers award at that time. The Awards Ceremony will begin at 10:30 in the same area, where we will recognize top finishers in several categories.

Registration and Packet Pick-Up:  There will also be Race-Day Registration available at the start area from 7:30-8:15. There will be no fee increase for Race-Day Registration but we do ask that you send us an email to let us know you will be participating, so we can save a spot for you.
