Description
Here at the Veterans' Honor Run, we LOVE honoring and remembering the brave men and women who have boldly and courageously served our nation! This is a 5km race and walk that not only encourages some FAST times, but also acts as an outlet to remember and thank those who have kept our land free.
This year ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), an amazing program that supports families whose loved one(s) has paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
This course runs through the trails of Ft. Steilacoom Park in Lakewood. This is a USATF sanctioned event. All are welcome! Runners will begin first, with walkers starting shortly after. Strollers and dogs are permitted.
Please join us after the race for a perfect post-race treat of DONUTS and an awards ceremony presented by Fleet Feet Tacoma.
