Welcome to the home of the Gruelin' Newlin Challenge!
We are a bunch of trail bums that love running all across Chester County. We want to share with you one of our favorite spots to run, ChesLen Preserve. The best way to do that is lace up and hit the trails, so we've put together the Gruelin' Newlin Challenge. We'll run 25K through the beautiful trails and sometimes gruelin' hills of ChesLen Preserve, located in Newlin Township.
When: 8 AM Sunday, February 11th, 2018
Where: ChesLen Preserve at the Lenfest Center
1199 Cannery Road, Coatesville, PA 19320
Cost: $10
We'll start at the Lenfest Center Parking area on Cannery Road and stroll out across the open farm, into the woods and of course up the hills! Expect a few creek crossings too. But don't worry, we'll have a couple aid stations with water and a few snacks where you can fuel up and contemplate why you signed up for all this.
The participant limit is 30 and we're only asking for $10. Whatever we don't spend on supplies for the race will be donated to the Natural Lands Trust! They are a non-profit organization that works to save and protect open spaces in our area. They do a darn good job so let's help 'em out and give back. We'll be accepting donations at the event from anyone who wants to pitch in. Check them out here:
