Oquirrh Wave Trail Races

Tooele County is home to the Serengeti/Oquirrh Wave trail system, situated at the feet of the Oquirrh Mountains. These courses will appeal to the beginner and experienced trail runner alike. You will traverse semi-technical atv trails along with some single-track; take in sweeping views of the Tooele Valley, Great Salt Lake, and distant Stansbury Mountain Range; and enjoy the beauty and solitude of getting off the asphalt and onto the dirt.

The Courses

These fun courses are an adaptation of the old Serengeti Trail Races courses. You'll spend less time in the Serengeti Trail System and more in the Oquirrh Wave Trail System. While enjoying stunning views of the snowcapped northern Oquirrh Mountains, the Tooele Valley, the Stansbury Mountain Range, and the Great Salt Lake, you will climb 2,000 ft in the 25k, 1,200 ft in the 10-Miler, and 750 ft in the 5-Miler. There will be 2 aid stations for the 25k and 1 aid station for the 10 and 5-Milers.

Awards & Swag

Awards will be given to the top men and women in each distance. Each runner will have the option to purchase a unique race shirt, and each runner will receive a beanie and other assorted swag from sponsors.
