The Great Escape Endurance Challenge

This is a virtual 5k/Half Marathon/50k & 100k where you can run or walk on your own, with no cutoff time and you choose the location. Some suggested locations are a local trail near you, around your neighborhood, your back yard, or on a treadmill if available. You can choose any date from May 24th-July 12th to complete your race. Results must be uploaded by midnight on July 12th. Register for the The Great Endurance Challenge virtual race and have a special commemorative medal mailed to you just like in the picture above! The price does includes shipping the medal to you! Please make sure your address is correct on Ultra Signup!

Medal Sizes
5K = 4" Tall
Half Marathon = 5" Tall
50k = 6" Tall
100k = 7" Tall with squatch fur (only the 100k medal has fur!)

Rules for Virtual Race

A virtual race is done at your own pace, at your choice of location. You may run or walk your race distance between May 24th-July 12th.

All distances must be supported with data. Any GPS devices can be used including your phone. Your full distance and time should be submitted and the race must be done all at one time. Times should be submitted to include standing and rest time, not only movement.

To submit results, simply use the ultra sign up to submit results. If you have any issues just send a screenshot of the results to us via email as soon as you complete your race. Deadline to submit results is July 12th.

Do note, this event is not timed by UltraSignup. Times will be listed on this site from participants times and distance, but the PARTICIPANT is responsible for tracking their distance and time to properly submit them to the race director.
