Battlefield Blast

Come join us for a run through the historic Resaca Battlefield. Racers will make their way through wooded areas and open fields along the trails in the battlefield.

Packet pickup will be on race day. It begins at 7:30 and ends at 9:15. If you would like to register on the day of the event you can at packet pickup. $35 Cash Only and no guarantee on a shirt after 10/12/22.

Race Description

The race will be held on the trails in the park. The trails are mix of gravel, dirt, rocks, roots and all the other fun stuff that comes with trails. This is not a flat course, you will have a few climbs. If it rains you will encounter some mud, but that’s what makes trails fun. All of the distances are approximate.

Cutoff time is at 12:00 PM. This is a suggestion, you can finish your distance! No DNF’s here!

10 Milers, two laps on the trails. 5 Milers, one lap. 5k will be on the upper trails in the park.

There will be an aid station at a central area in the trail system so runners will pass by the station while making laps.

Giving Back

All proceeds of the race are going to the Calhoun and Chatsworth, Ga chapter of Toys for Tots. This organization provides gifts to families in need in Gordon and Murray county.

Awards and Swag

All entrants will receive a shirt. All finishers will receive a finishers medal. Awards will be given to first place male and female of each race!

To ensure you get a shirt, please register by 10/12/2022! There will be some extras on race day but I can’t guarantee you will get one if you wait.
