What we are.
We are a family friendly 5k fun run. Walk, run, or push a stroller. We have no cut off time. Stick around after to enjoy the festivities of Wild Bill Goose Days.
Bib pickup
Bib pickup will be Friday May 16th at the Wilbur City Park from 4:30-5:30pm. Day of race pick up will be from 6:15-7:45 in front of the city call.
We highly discourage race day registration, but do welcome Friday night registration.
Awards
For the 5k we will be giving out special awards to the top 3 in each age group. Overall Gender Awards will be given out.
Awards Ceremony will be after the parade in the Wilbur park near the stage.
Start
The start and finish will both be next to the Wilbur City Hall.
Both races will start at 8am SHARP!
Aid Stations
The 5k will have a water station at the turn around point.
The course
The 5k course is a gradual incline on the way out but once you turn around it is all down hill to the finish line. Most of our course is on pavement, a small section will be on packed gravel.
What not to do
Absolutely NO skateboards, skates, bikes, or dogs ( goats and cats also) on course. Sorry we love these things as much as you do but for liability purposes please leave them at home. Hopefully your pup will understand.
Late registration
Please note that we can not guarantee a shirt day of race if you register after May 2nd 2025. Shirts will not be mailed. Late online registration will be open until May 15th. In person late registration is available Friday May 16th or morning of the race
