THE RACE: Welcome to Leatherwood Resort. We are so excited to be here. This place is all private horse land trail. It is extremely beautiful, Much of the trail is shaded in the tree line with some beautiful overlooks. Every moment of this place is worth every bit of the memories you will get from this place.
RACE START – FINISH:
Park Opens at 7 am
Bib Pickup at 7:10 am to 7:50 am
Race starts at 8 am
Race ends at 5:30 pm
PACKET PICKUP:
We will have the day before Pick Up of the Bibs for this race
COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Our flagging for the race will be Orange Ribbon, and YELLOW Arrows!!
Your Elevation Gain per Loop is 3,050 of Gain for 12 Miles.
Each Route will consist of one out and back part to ensure you complete mileage for the race.
25K - 3,050 Gain
50K - 6,050 Gain
50 Mile - 12,200 of Gain
100 Mile - 24,400 of Gain
THE AID STATION:
We have 3 Aid Stations on Route - Aid Station Alpha, Aid Station Omega, and Aid Station Wolf Fang
Your Crews can have access to Alpha, and Omega, but not to Wolf Fang.
The Aid Station will be fully stocked with basic food choices which typically include items such as pickles, cereal, pretzels, candy, fruit, bacon. The Hydration will consists of water, and Tailwind, and a variety of sodas. The Aid Station will be stocked with first aid. If you decide to drop out of the race, please let us know.
RUNNER INFORMATION:
Wear BIBS on the front of your shirt or shorts and ensure that it is clearly visible throughout the entire race. Trekking poles are allowed throughout the race. The weather can vary. Be ready for rain, and fog in many cases.
MEDALS:
Medals will come with the completion of the race. Medals are handmade pottery medal by BlueGill Pottery. One of a kind and not any one medal is the same as the next one. So ALL of them are different. SOCIAL MEDIA INFORMATION:

Additional Rules for Dirty Wolf Racing Events:
No Dogs or Strollers are allowed on the race course for the safety of all, unless a special exception is made.
Runners and Walkers are both welcome, as long as you can finish by the time limit.
Entry fees are Non-refundable if the event is canceled, including in the case of inclement weather.
If you need to defer your race, please contact the race director.
This is a private event, so unregistered participants are not allowed.
The 100 Miler
The 100 Miler will consist of 12 mile loops with a 36 Hour cutoff for the race. The route will consist of horse trail that circles the entire property of Leatherwood!

Their 45+ private cabins offer amazing views, luxury accommodations, top notch amenities some have outdoor hot tubs. Their creekside campground offers 20 & 30 amp breaker sites and h20 hook ups for RV or tent camping. Shower and bathroom facilities are located in the barn area. Call 336-973-5044 for campground reservations. Campsite are limited.
