The 2026 Outlands Endurance Race returns on April 18th, 2026, with 25K, 50K, and 50-mile distances that take runners deep into the heart of one of Northern California’s most stunning and untapped trail systems. Held at Peninsula Campground in Pilot Hill, CA, this course winds along the rugged, lakeside edges of Folsom Lake, offering breathtaking views, remote singletrack, and terrain untouched by any other trail race.
This isn’t just another trail race—it’s a battle against the elements, the clock, and yourself. Outlands throws down rugged climbs and remote singletrack that demands focus and grit. Whether you're grinding through your first ultra or testing your limits on the 50-miler, every mile out here is earned. No distractions. No crowds. Just you, the dirt, and the drive to get out there... way out there.
25K
The 25k / 15.5 mile takes place on April 18th at 9:00AM at Peninsula Campground, is an out and back beyond the campgrounds and has 1452ft of total climbing. All of it is runnable on a mix of single track and double wide trails. Aid stations will be stocked with gels, chips, candy, potatoes, bananas, water and Skratch Hydration.

The 50k / 31.1 mile takes place on April 18th at 8:30AM at Peninsula Campground, is an out and back beyond Acorn Creek Parking Lot and has 3407ft of total climbing. All of it is runnable on a mix of single track and double wide trails. Aid stations will be stocked with gels, chips, candy, potatoes, bananas, water and Skratch Hydration.

All of it is runnable on a mix of single track and double wide trails. Aid stations will be stocked with gels, chips, candy, potatoes, bananas, water and Skratch Hydration.
