Flat Rock Trail Race
Flat Rock is the area's newest trail race, and proceeds will benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua's building expansion! The course is a 5-mile loop with nearly 600 feet of elevation gain in beautiful Dunstable, Mass. On each loop you will start by going over the Arched Bridge of the Arched Bridge Conservation Area, down part of the old Nashua, Acton and Boston Railroad bed, then run around a former granite quarry and farm, plus climb to the tops of the old Blanchard Hill Ski Area and Flat Rock Hill! Run this well marked loop as many times as you like within the six hour limit. Come prepared to celebrate the first full day of summer with us!
We'd like to thank the Dunstable Conservation Commission as well as the Dunstable Rural Land Trust for their permission to have the race on the trails. Their support, as well as the support of the Town of Dunstable and the Tyngsborough-Dunstable Historical Society, among others, are very important to us. Please join us in being great guests to the area!

Race & Course Information
Please see the Flat Rock Trail Race web site for plenty of additional information! You can find more information about the race, as well as information about the course on the site. We will be adding more information about the course, the history of the area, and sign ups for volunteering at the race in the near future, so keep an eye out for more details!
Make A Day In Dunstable!
The Tyngsboro-Dunstable Historical Society Annual Strawberry Festival and the DRLT Art in the Barn Show will be the same day as the race. Come run some loops and then either stay and cheer runners in or head over and take in the festivities! More details will be shared closer to the date, but we are very excited to bring some of the amazing trail vibe not only to the course, but to enjoy the town festival after. The Little Red Schoolhouse is only a 6 minute drive from the race parking and on the way back to the highway - why wouldn't you want to check it out!
No Refunds or Deferrals
If for any reason you are not able to attend the race, there are no deferrals and no refunds. Your entry fee will be a donation to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua and their capital campaign to expand the current building and bring low cost services to the community. Thank you for your donation!
The race will be held rain or shine. Please be advised that if the area receives a torrential amount of rain before the event, and if the Dunstable Conservation Commission determines that running the race in exceptionally wet and muddy conditions would damage the trails, the race could be cancelled or postponed. While we do not expect this to happen, there is precedent at other races within the last few years and did want to be transparent to our runners.
